Year 5-8 learning
English
In these middle years students begin to become innovative and really experiment with the language skills they have learnt in the earlier stages. Tutoring will be designed for your child's needs and if there are gaps in their earlier learning this will be determined and will become the focus in our sessions. Tutoring might include, but is in no way limited to, reading fluency and comprehension, spelling, sentence structure, handwriting and creating written texts.
Math
In these middle stages tutoring would focus on your child's needs. Base ten facts, multiplication, additive strategies, and more. Any gaps in your child's earlier maths learning will be determined and worked upon in our sessions. Math tutoring is a positive experience for your child where their achievements will give them the confidence to further progress.
Student Specific
Based on the needs of your child we can cater for all. Gross and fine motor skills. Social skills and positive behaviour for learning. There really is no limit. With your consultation and our experience we strive to provide a successful and positive experience for your child.
